Orchard Church is a new church community in the Madison area learning to live the Way of Jesus together. Our hope is simple: we help people live connected to Jesus, grow through authentic community, and join God's renewing work in the everyday — right where we live.
We believe following Jesus is more than showing up on Sundays. It's about discovering that your life is part of a bigger story—God's story—and that your presence matters for the healing of families, neighborhoods, and generations to come. That kind of transformation happens best in community, and it takes root in real places: our streets, our tables, our neighborhoods.
Rooted in the life and ministry of Jesus, we gather in a rhythm of worship, table, and presence.
- On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, we come together for Worship Gatherings—to hear from Scripture, respond in worship, and meet God in community.
- On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we share a meal called Sunday Supper. Like Jesus, we believe the table is a sacred place—where stories are shared, bread is broken, and lives are shaped.
- On the 4th Sunday, we gather to pray—listening for God together and lifting up one another and the neighborhoods we're learning to love.
Throughout the year, we also gather in Table Communities—smaller groups learning to practice the Way of Jesus together around a shared meal, honest conversation, and deep formation through Scripture and Spirit-led discussion. Table Communities are a cornerstone of life at Orchard; they take a rest over the summer and return in the fall.
This summer, we're practicing the art of neighboring. Rather than gathering in one fixed place, we're meeting closer to home—in homes, parks, and local spaces around Sun Prairie and Madison's east side—learning what it means to be the church not just where we meet, but where we live. Our rhythm stays the same; we're simply bringing it nearer to the everyday places God has planted us.
We create space for people to bring their questions, wrestle with doubt, and encounter the living God. Whether you're looking for healing, connection, purpose, or a place to grow—there's room for you here.
