Yesterday we said "until next time" to many people that we love at North Ridge Church in Waunakee. We were officially "commissioned" for the work of planting the new church family that is Orchard Church. Over the past year, Leiah and I have both been transitioning to giving 100% of our ministry time to Orchard, and yesterday was our final Sunday at North Ridge.

It always seems easier to stay where it is safe, but often times the work of the Kingdom asks us to step out in obedient risk. We are excited for what God has in store in and through the ministry of Orchard Church, and we're grateful that you're a part of it.

The Porch

Our next Porch Gathering will take place tonight from 6-8 pm at Bethany Ministry Center (301 Riverside Drive, Madison). If you're reading this email, you're invited to join us. This time is a great excuse to eat a BBQ dinner with new friends, hear an update on what's happening at the Orchard, and share in a time of teaching and connection.

If you haven't yet been a part of these gatherings, they are a great way to meet people and join us at the "ground level" as we journey toward starting our public gathering launch this October. We are exploring the four "altars" necessary to see spiritual awakening. We've discussed the altars of the heart and the home + family, and on August 26, we will explore the Altar of the Church.
