This week our prayer gathering takes to the streets — and into the heart of the neighborhood. We'll meet at Riverside Ministry Center, then walk together through the surrounding streets, praying quietly for the homes, people, and places we pass.

It just so happens to be AtwoodFest weekend, when the east side comes alive with music, food, art, and thousands of neighbors filling Atwood Avenue. Rather than avoid the crowds, we'll walk right into them — because a neighborhood at its most alive is a beautiful place to practice presence. Our aim is simple: to move through the festival with open eyes and open hearts, paying attention, and asking the Spirit to show us where God is already at work in the midst of it all.

This is the heart of our Summer of Neighboring — learning that witness begins not with the right words, but with presence and attention. No experience needed. Just come ready to walk slowly, notice, and pray.

A note on getting there: Parking will be available in the Riverside lot, but plan for extra time — AtwoodFest brings road closures and heavy traffic to the neighborhood, so give yourself a cushion and arrive a little early.
