This Sunday we gather in the backyard to worship, share the Scriptures, and continue our Summer of Neighboring. We've spent these weeks learning to notice the people God has placed around us — and this week Jesus invites us one step further.

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, a lawyer asks Jesus, "Who is my neighbor?" — and Jesus flips the question entirely. Not who qualifies as my neighbor, but which one became a neighbor? We'll explore what it means to move from simply seeing the people around us to becoming a neighbor to them — mercy that crosses the road instead of passing by.

We'll be outside, so bring a lawn chair if you can, and come ready to be comfortable. Kids are always welcome. Come as you are — we'll have space to worship, learn, lean in, and pray together. All are welcome.
