Join us in intentionally slowing down for the month of July.

Download and print the Summer Slowdown resource from our friends at Practicing the Way and commit the following along for 4 weeks in July with your family, friends, or Orchard Table Community.

Find Your Purpose. Find Your Community.

We believe that one of the ways we can see transformation in Madison and across the globe is through engaging in meaningful partnerships with ministries, organizations, and churches who have expertise and vision to contextually respond to specific local and global needs.

In some cases, Orchard Church partners with these organizations through a combination of intentional prayer, telling the story of their work, service opportunities, or giving financially. In others, a Missional Community is formed when a group of people share a passion and move towards an organization or people group intentionally through prayer and service.

The platform builds capacity for the local community to efficiently and effectively distribute essential resources such as beds, clothing, car repairs, furniture, food, etc., and establish meaningful connections.

Orchard Church has a CarePortal response team in Dane County. This team is trained and equipped to serve the clients of local agencies and nonprofits through financial support and tangible items of need for requests entered into CarePortal.

Hephzibah62:4

For 118 years, Hephzibah Children’s Home was committed to serving the needs of children who were orphaned, homeless, abused, and neglected in one location. Hephzibah62:4 is the result of the re-visioning of that historic ministry and was launched in March of 2019. Hephzibah62:4 now partners with local Wesleyan churches and ministries to transform the lives of vulnerable children in communities all across the U.S. and Canada.

As a partner church of Hephzibah62:4, we are committed to creating a culture of care and support around the needs of vulnerable children in our church and community.

Generous Jalopy

Believing that people need consistent transportation to sustain housing, employment, healthcare, education, and enrichment, Generous Jalopy brokers transportation solutions for people working with their nonprofit partners. With limited transportation options in our county and long travel times for short distances, people face added complexities when recovering from adversities. In response, Generous Jalopy takes practical action at critical moments, one person at a time.

MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES

The Women Leaders Network

The Women Leaders Network (WLN) is an initiative of the GLN and is a global movement of local cohorts that will identify, empower, equip and release women in leadership. We desire to see women leading well with and alongside men, and fully use their God given leadership gifts for His purposes. Our vision is to see a unified global network of women leaders bringing transformational impact to their churches and local communities.

The Madison chapter of WLN is a Missional Community of Orchard Church. They meet monthly to connect, build relationships and learn and grow together in leadership ability and calling. They are also committed to develop a serving element that will have a transformation impact on the Madison community.
