Find Your Purpose. Find Your Community.

Welcome to the Orchard!

If you’re looking to find a church community in Madison, we invite you to join us for a Sunday gathering! Our Sunday cadence is intentionally designed to follow the Way of Jesus in our modern context.

  • On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, we gather at 4:30 p.m. for a worship gathering. In this setting, we worship God through music and hear a message from the Bible.
  • On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we again gather at 4:30 p.m., but we share in what we call Sunday Supper. This is a time to break bread and grow in community with others.

As a church, we are deeply committed to fostering community with others and with Jesus and believe that every person has a God given purpose that will impact their families and communities for generations to come.

We can’t wait to meet you!

What To Expect

We’re excited to meet you and encourage you in your walk with Jesus. If this is your first Sunday joining us, check out the FAQ’s below for some helpful information.

FAQ’s

What is the Sunday Worship gathering like?
  • On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, we gather for worship in a way that you may find to be more traditional if you’ve ever been a part of a church. Our service will last about 70 minutes. We will worship Jesus through music, hear a teaching from the Bible, and respond together in some way. Following the service, you’re invited to stay and meet others over coffee (hot or cold brew, depending on the season) and kombucha.
What about the Sunday Supper gathering?
  • We love food and think breaking bread together is formational in the Way of Jesus, so on the 2nd Sunday of each month we share in a meal (potluck style) and conversation together. After filling our plates, we’ll hear a short reading and discussion prompt. You’re welcome to respond the prompt, or just meet and connect with someone new. For your first visit, you’re our guest, so no need to contribute to the meal.
What about my kids?

When you arrive at the church on the 1st or 3rd Sunday for a Worship gathering:

      • Head to the Kids Check-in table where we will greet your family and ask for some basic contact information. We are excited to meet your family!

      • You will receive a nametag for your child and a corresponding pick-up tag to provide at the end of service for security purposes. We assign kids to classrooms according to their birthdate or grade in school. If we need to reach you during the service, we will send a text message to your phone.

      • If your kids are birth through 2 years old, they will head directly to their classroom. If your kids are 3 years old through 2nd grade, they will check in but will join you in the sanctuary for musical worship. At our time of community, we’ll invite you to bring your kids back to the kids check-in area so they can head to their classroom for age-appropriate activities and a lesson from the Bible. Kids 3rd grade and older will stay with us in the sanctuary.

When you arrive for a 2nd Sunday Supper:

        • Your kids will join us for supper, and we can’t wait for the joy and energy they will bring to the meal. Our space is conducive to play, but we will have coloring books and crayons available for them (just in case).

        What is parking like?
We’re excited to have you join us on a Sunday. Here are a few helpful tips related to parking:
        • We have a small parking lot on Riverside Drive.

        • If the parking lot is full, there is street parking available near the building. We ask that you’d be respectful to our neighbors (and posted city ordinances).

        What should I wear?
        • Come in what is comfortable to you! It’s not about what you look like or what you wear – we’re happy to have you join us.
